Notes

USCT Simulation

GovCase

The use case is specifically tailored for the project. Even though it used the existing Use Case and its analyses as a base, due to creating a meaningful experience for our possible users, it was changed/narrowed.

GovCase Simulation:

For short term GovCase Simulation can be used for covering USCT use case simulation. For long term GovCase can be used as a umbrella term for all of the cases that will be showcased in the project while use cases can be mentional as a [Use Case X] simulation with a reference to digital impact exchange catalogue.

Possible beneficiaries and candidates perspective for USCT

Citizen

The use case is aimed at different user groups, they don’t necessarily have the status “Citizen” so this term could be confusing.

User:

  • very generic term, which could be used for the civil servant as well and may cause confusion within the simulations' context change

Beneficiary:

  • This term is used as a status (from candidate to beneficiary), USCT in the use case

Residents:

  • It is not clear if the use case only applies for legal residents.

Inhabitant:

  • not every beneficiary of the USCT has the status of being an Inhabitant

This area should always be compared to scenarios and the term for other perspective (current Civil Servant)

Fictional Goverment name for USCT Simulation

Open Island

It should be clear that the government itself is fictional.

Utopia Island

  • Positive: It is clear that it is a fictional name

  • Negative: Unconditional Social Cash transfer should not happen on a Utopia

GovNation

  • Positive: Usage of “Gov” and it is clear that the name is fictional. Positive for branding, can be also used for other use cases in the future.

  • Negative: Shallow

GovLand

  • Same with the previous but less shallow.

Civil Servant perspective for USCT simulation

Civil Servant

Government:

  • Very generic term. The civil servant perspective is singular, not covering the whole office nor government. It can be confusing.

Official:

  • very generic term which could be misinterpreted

Government Employee:

  • generic term which could be used for future use cases.

Decisions

  • Civil Servant will be used
  • Open Island will be replaced with Digital Island
  • Citizen will be replaced with Applicant
