This page describes the GovStack Governance Committee meeting notes. We use this meeting page to both run the meeting and keep notes, actions and decisions.
To avoid long meeting where the current status of each report is read out, we ask all participants to read the links below before the meeting, add in any questions they may have and then ask them in the meeting. This will focus the meeting upon the questions, decisions and actions needed for greatest impact.

| On March 2025, the Chancellor/Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia gave his approval for the establishment of GovStack legal entity. |
Strategic communication on GovStack Wallet Specification non-compliance with eIDAS regulation |
| GovStack CTO viewpoint: eIDAS compatibility and EU compatibility as a whole are important to me as a CTO of GovStack and for everyone that I have collaborated with in GovSpecs team. The following is a quality criteria that I have communicated as an expectation to all of the working groups and experts that have worked in GovStack: eIDAS compatibility is not achieved by a country using GovStack specification, however it must not forbid that country from achieving such interoperability. This means that GovStack specifications should be an option for a country that aspires to become part of EU or wishes to collaborate with EU in terms of sustainable data exchange and interoperability and they should be able to benefit from GovStack without having to replace GovStack components to achieve such compatibility. And if that country requires eIDAS compatibility, then they can enhance the GovStack modules that they are using to achieve this. |
