Progress since last call

1. @Dr. Bimal kumar updated the diagrams discussed in the last call.

2. In the Registration workflow diagram, conditional workflows have been shown as dotted lines. Bidirectional communication between Applicant and Registrar depicted. Payment initiation and confirmation are depicted with dotted lines. Audit logs record the number of changes in the data for registrar, to ensure data integrity. This can be done by activating triggers.

3. First version of the “Description” section and draft of Key Digital Requirements has been done.

Feedback on the progress:

1. @Sebastian Leidig suggested that the Event Bus can be made a part of the information mediation pipeline in the Digital Registration & Registry BB diagram (Illustration 1 in Digital Registry BB version 1.0). Dr. Bimal will discuss this Ram Kumar to get some clarity.

2. Pub/Sub description should be added to the Description chapter.

3. A question was raised about whether payment information/invoice should be system-generated and automatically sent to the applicant (in the Registration workflow diagram). Payment timeline differs between countries, and it might be a good practice to make this a configurable feature. Another feedback was that the diagram currently shows payment initiation from the Registrar, whereas the applicant may be the one initiating payment in some cases. @Sebastian Leidig suggested that the diagram can be simplified.

Next Steps

1. GitBook access shared with all members. Members will work directly on sections 6 and 7 on the GitBook.

2. All members will go through the Key Digital Requirements and Description sections and share their comments, to be discussed in the upcoming call.

3. @Ananya Jha will work on the Terminology sections.
