Updates:

  1. Ananya has added terminology comments to change requests. @Dr. Bimal and everyone will review this and merge changes if this is okay

  1. Xilene has added comments and new version for each subsection in section 5. @Xilene will add this to GitBook.

Discussion on Cross-Cutting Requirements:

  1. Xilene added comments on architectural specifications, citizen-centricity, cloud-based server requirements, robustness, and business rules.

  1. @Sebasitian put it as an open question whether cloud infrastructure should be added as a separate requirement given that it is already mentioned in other GovSpecs documents. It was suggested that the part related to recommended use of cloud server can be deleted.

  1. In the “Robust” requiremnt, details on backup power resources etc should not be included.

  1. In “use of business rules” sub-section, “no triggers/stored procedures shall be used” is a requirement. This is not directly related to privacy and reads as an exception to general GovStack requirements. @Dr. Bimal clarified that this requirement arose from microservice architecture service logic. This recommendation has been added accounting for that scenario. This can be added to the functional requirements, instead of cross-cutting requirements. In modern systems, this should be avoided. We will decide whether to retain “no triggers/stored procedures shall be used” after finalising the other sections.

 Next steps:

  1. @Ananya will edit the old text in terminology section with the new definition, add definitions as headings and text. Then submit for review. Add the definition of registration from the Architecture BB GovSpecs as a comment in our draft. This can help in maintaining consistency.

  1. @Umang and @Dr. Bimal will go through the general cross-cutting requirements from other BB and see if anything new needs to be added. Especially regarding architecture and security requirements.
