This page describes the GovStack meeting notes. We use this meeting page to both run the meeting and keep notes, actions and decisions.

To avoid long meeting where the current status of each report is read out, we ask all participants to read the links below before the meeting, add in any questions they may have and then ask them in the meeting. GovStack Core Specifications 2.0 has been published

GovStack Architecture | Architecture | GovStack Specification

This update establishes a new structural foundation for our digital government architecture specifications. Actionable: Share the upcoming public communication with your CE team. Ensure they are aware and read it. Be tuned for the upcoming WG webinars.

New versions to ID-umbrella BBs are released

New versions have been released following the first effort of the GovStack Initiative to provide a holistic approach to digital identity. A blogpost from @Mikael Linden and the CFID WG will be published soon. Share the announcement and new specifications to Country Engagement teams for them to get up to date with this model. Should they have any feedback or questions, please contact @Ali González or @David Higgins

New Payments BB version 3.0 has been released. Looking for teams to test compliance and provide feedback

Payments BB has been updated at 3.0. This is a major release which means we need solutions to be tested against this specification. Actionable: We are looking at implementers or solutions to validate this spec. We are asking CE teams to reach the Payments WG by email or through the slack channel. Please contact @Ali González or @David Higgins

GovStack Workshop for Guinea Bissau

@Marushka Chocobar

The recent GovStack workshop in Guinea-Bissau was a success. More than 100 public officials participated, representing over 60% of the country’s ministries.

In addition, one-to-one meetings took place with the leaders of five key public institutions: the Ministry of Public Administration, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, the National Institute of Statistics and the National Institute of ICT.

These engagements aimed to align the objectives of Guinea-Bissau’s National Digital Transformation Strategy with the value proposition offered by GovStack.

The Guinea-Bissau project with ITU GovStack is part of the WARDIP (West Africa Regional Digital Integration Program) a regional initiative led primarily by the World Bank to strengthen the digital ecosystem across West Africa.
