• starting to do research here: Translations.xlsx

• Discussed a combination of automated translation with native-speaker (GIZ intern?) review for important pages

• We agree we don’t want to spend too much money so a grass roots approach which may also require technical support for plug-in configurations.

• Prioritizing French for now for manual translations

• Plug-in could start with French, Spanish, Arabic

• next steps:

  • continued research on plug-in options with intern

  • define an approach by the end of January and propose/share with GC

  • Farina Owusu and Martha Mundas will kick off the project with GIZ intern.

Global Showcase update

• Arielle met with APAC team to discuss publishing global showcase pages for:

  • PNG - they’ve published a lot of info on LinkedIn that we can use for a page. Arielle is putting together a draft based on this information and will share for internal review and (likely) quick approvals with PNG.

  • Cambodia - will require stricter approvals and likely need more time.

• German GovTech Summit Feb 20ish - would be good to tease at a side event or launch
