Aim of the week: Aim of the Week: Sustainable digital transformation requires embedding the lessons learned from past modernization and digitalization efforts. Prior to embarking on crafting a transformation roadmap, it is essential to analyze both the successes and failures of countries that have effectively implemented digital transformation initiatives. By understanding these insights, organizations can avoid common pitfalls and adopt proven best practices. This week will focus on key change management strategies and implementation frameworks designed to support the development of GovStack-compliant solutions.

Assignment:

Roadmap Development

  • Has the team developed a clear, well-organized implementation plan with defined milestones and timelines?

  • Are the phases logically sequenced, showing a step-by-step transition from the AS-IS to the TO-BE state?

Resource Allocation

...

By the end of the week, the teams should develop a roadmap outlining the necessary steps to transition from the (AS-IS) state to the (TO-BE) state.

This roadmap should include: -

  • Phased implementation plan: Breaking down the development and deployment process into a clear sequence of steps with defined milestones and timelines.

  • Resource allocation: Identify the required resources (technology, personnel, budget) for each phase?

  • Are the resource requirements realistic and aligned with the scope of the project?

Risk Mitigation Strategies

  • Has the team identified potential risks and outlined strategies to mitigate them?

  • Are the risks and mitigation plans specific to the project’s roadmap and its critical phases?

Prototype Development

  • Has the team successfully created architecture prototype? What of architecturally important aspects it enable to validate?

  • What kind BB have your team utilised in the prototype. Why it is useful?

  • Is the API integration seamless, demonstrating a working interaction between the components?.

  • Risk mitigation strategies

For the Prototype development, in Joget:

●Introduce the Payment and Information Management (IM) Building Blocks (BBs).

●Build workflow according to to-be user journey in Joget to call out the APIs of mini applications (e-services) created
