Notes

  • We are building UX/UI specifications from an MVP perspective, what are those most common, must have minimum impactful features or services that this building block should provide?

  • The UX/UI BB needs to define the front end workflow. A framework to enable responsive UI, multimodal UI,

  • Take a look at Registration BB, as one of the modalities that can help us define screen flows and business logic of the front end framework. Firm IO.

  • Registration BB is a ‘form filling’ application. We can have a look. - For example think of the different scenarios of the personas that would be going through registration and define what their circumstances could be eg preference of using a certain device, mobile vs desktop, access needs etc

  • What are the interfaces and actions that the users are interacting with at different stages of the user journey in the BB.

  • Registration BB is the only BB that has UI to show. We can learn from them. Ingmar shared some of the elements that they have identified that they need.

  • Each of the BBs have different modalities/mechanisms/channels that they are working for their backend. But the front end elements have not been specified. For all the consumers of payments for instance don't have to think about the workings of the backend but what they see on the front end. How can we help the person designing the front end pick the elements and components and use them directly as they design and put together the front end screens?

  • We are building specifications for a Design System that has UX/UI components and elements.

  • The design system needs to take Accessibility, multimodal, linguistics, into account

  • Write down what we expect the UX/UI BB to achieve. Then focus on what are the use cases that can help us define the UX/UI elements that we will look at.

  • The reason we are outlining the user journey is so that we can clearly see the users and their actions and the scenarios that would apply to them. Their point of interaction will define the interface they would be using to achieve an action and therefore define for us which components are important to consider. And which components are most common across the user journey.
