To discuss Subscription Management APIs

Minutes of the meeting

  1. The notifications should only be shared with the external applications with the user’s consent.

  2. User consent can be taken at the time of registration or post-registration.

  3. There are also use cases such as identity fraud in which user consent can be either bypassed or consent can be taken from the user at the time of registration that the user identity credentials will be suspended/revoked in case of identity fraud.

  4. The current interfaces for subscription APIs are non-REST API-based.

  5. If non-REST API-based interfaces are not acceptable, then REST APIs have to be designed for publication and subscription of events.

Action items

  • Smita will check with Jaume and other WG members to see if non-REST APIs are acceptable for subscription management.

  • Smita will find the points of integration with Consent BB for sharing notifications.
