Questions:

Potential Healthcare Use Cases

@Sarah Farooqi

20 min

Approaches to analyzed multiple sources for use case and prioritize

Health programs benchmark presented and challenges with their adoption as GovStack use cases

Questions/Comments:

  • Yolanda: There is another health use case that might be coming out of Djibouti , we will validate the scope of the work GIZ is doing and share it back to the PC

  • Steve: Vaccination use cases are still a priority as well as CRVS

    • CRVS is complicated, may be difficult to start with. We can connect with the team and see value.

  • Jaume: There is already a DPG related to CRVS - Open CRVS https://www.opencrvs.org/ Telemedicine is very important to democratize access.

  • Wes: CRVS no need to redefine them but rather prepare GovStack BB to connect to Open CRVS

  • Steve: Can connect with others that are connected with GovStack (DPGs, for example) and see how we (GovStack) can support them. This might be a good entry point for OpenCRVS

  • Yolanda: Could be good to ask countries, via a questionnaire, and use it as another input.

    • Data portability is another use case that we could consider, both centralized control and individual control

  • Margus - Digital health record as whole of government approach challenge. Health care providers could be private and public sector, and due diligence on how much of the service was actually provided and consumed by people alive and not death (Fraud detection in the health sector).

  • Wess - Telemedicine could be a good use case based on comments

Feedback on Publication Process

@Wes Brown

Review of the publication process

Margus: Revision on consistency, shall we publish a back load in relation to the BB, to show case that this is release X, but these are the topics we are currently working on. Future work.

Wess: Framing of the specs 1. This version X of many, 2. This is coming next, 3. This how you can get involved

Jaume: ID Features that you can specify in the next version, the time frame - road map, Open G2P road map is a good example. Infrastructure, Data Centers, specify the minimum requirements. Readiness for countries to have GovStack.

Yolanda: Wave 3 of Tech Specs covers Hosting and Cloud, readiness assessment in country covers mapping current infra capabilities.

Steve: Release note to the release, these is the content, these are the next priorities, and the road map.
