GovStack UI

@Jaume DUBOIS

Possible Mobile App Features

  • Case for making Mobile Readiness a Default in GovStack (Slides below)

@Jaume DUBOIS insert presentation

Discussion

  • Rachel: Great and needed component for eservices. But specificing such a mobile companion should not be in the scope of GovStack. GovStack should focus on the backend and interface provision instead of citizen facing frontend

  • Wes: How can we figure out what value add we can provide. Government would want branded, custom mobile interfaces

  • Ramkumar: Current plans for demonstration in the sandbox: Is it agnostic to resolution?

    • Meelis: Had a long discussion. But in the first USCT simulation we do not offer mobile friendly version because information overload (actual UI and context UI)

  • Jaume: Need for an individual UI

  • Wes: What is needed: Here are the process to utilize mobile devices

  • Ramkumar: UI group is creating UI patters, it might be possible to combine

  • Jaume: Presentation and Discussion with UI group is needed

  • Steve: Bring to TC to include intro UI/UX WG

Next Steps:

@Jaume DUBOIS to share on topic at TC
PC to decide on what documents to create and how, choose a lead (create a team?), and get started
