Connect to a database using MongoDB Compass

  1. Install MongoDB Compass

  2. On the Authentication tab, select the Username/Password method:

    1. Username: govstack

    2. Password: P@ssw00rd!

  3. Under Proxy/SSH tab choose SSH with identity File:

    1. SSH Hostname: Select the appropriate address for the database to which you want to connect

    2. SSH Port: 22

    3. SSH Username: Ubuntu

    4. SSH Identity File: Use the right key with which you connect to the database

  4. Connect do the database

It should look like this: (The URL will complete itself as you fill in the following information.)
