Becoming a GovStack experienced company or freelancer is a strategic move for service providers, offering an opportunity to showcase their expertise in eGovernment services and proficiency in leveraging GovStack offerings.

As governments increasingly prioritize the development of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) and integrate GovStack into their digital transformation journeys, there is a growing demand for service providers well-versed in the GovStack approach. Such providers are becoming highly sought after in order to navigate the evolving landscape of digital government initiatives.

For governments

The pool provides governments with a selection of qualified companies and freelancers. When embarking on their digitization journeys with GovStack, selecting from the pool of experts streamlines the research process and saves time throughout the service digitization journey.

For GovStack

The service provider program is a cornerstone for the initiative’s success. It establishes a network of service providers who align with GovStack's principles, enabling a worldwide implementation of the approach.

Process

Application:

• Interested service providers submit an application form through the website and declare their agreement with the GovStack principles

Evaluation:

• GovStack reviews applications and assesses eligibility based on the specified partnership level requirements. Successfully approved experts receive a confirmation email.

Welcome package:

• The new experts receive an onboarding package that includes information about the GovStack branding guidelines and a template for a self-description to be featured on the initiative’s website.

GovExchange Inclusion: (Optional)

• Successfully approved service providers are featured in GovExchange, the marketplace to amplify the visibility of service providers and software providers to governments and potential costumers.

Eligibility Criteria

Prerequisites

• Written agreement to GovStack principles

• At least once a year attend community calls to receive latest updates on GovStack

• Soon: GovStack Introduction eLearning completed

Experience Levels

There are two ways individuals and companies can proof their knowledge and become GovStack Experts.

• Contribution

  • Volunteer contribution to the GovStack Specifications or other GovStack offerings (GovSpec, GovTest, GovLearn)

• Implementation

  • Service contract-based contribution or utilization GovStack Specifications or other GovStack offerings (e.g. assigned by countries or founding partners (GIZ, ITU, Estonia, DIAL))

Unit: working days (8h = 1 day) of contribution or implementation (actual time spent, not time frame!)

Testimonial:

1. Proof document (linked deliverables, reference project, authorship or others with plausible connection to/naming of GovStack Specifications or other GovStack Offerings)

2. Person reference (only contributions)

Listing

Once eligibility has been approved by GovStack staff, the individual or companies will be listed on GovStack.Global with the following profile:

• Name of individual or company

• Contact details: Website, E-Mail

• Eligibility Status: Level Label

• Eligibility Proof: How the eligibility was testified, possibly links to references
