Sandbox USCT Integration and Demo

• Successful demonstration of UCST 

  • Payments, IDV integration is done. 

  • Looking for Registries now 

  • Many developments are happening. Adopt UCST use-case. How BBs will integrate cover the use-case, not vice versa. 

  • Infra: Playground cluster. BBs co-exist in this playground.  

  • Some are not web-based and they may not expose APIs. 

• Data required 

  • Data: BB installation, cloud installation. Document it. Share it. Use cases using older version. Emulators with V1.0 and V1.4 there are some inconsistencies. 

IDV BB

• Some info is shared. Implementation hiccups are there in (1). 2 is good. 3 is working. 

• Where to post the location? SB  as a destination. 

• Incompatible changes need to be reported, version wise. 

• UCST is still not aligned w.r.t IDVBB. User Access Management. IDVBB of Resident location and verification of IDBB log user is not clear. Which use case version we are working on? IDVBB should verify the officer but not user/citizen.  

• Difference of opinion: (Vijay also expressed the concern. It should work based on user) 

  • Meelis: This is done as a quick fix. Otherwise, revision of use case is required. 

  • Vasil: BBs are not a problem. The design is itself a problem. We will face lot of problems in real scenario. For ex. IDBB wont provide registration BB interaction. Authentication of citizen should be done within IDVBB with Registries BB.   • Steps 1,2,4 and 10 are facilitating the solution.

• Government assumes access to all DBs in this use case. 

Consent BB

• Issues: Similar to IDVBB. 

  • CONBB is working with citizen. But use case is working with enrollment officer/ registry officer. Where do we integrate CONSBB now? 

Others

• Calling from application is done by Sandbox. It assumes government officer registration. 

• BBs should not worry about any registration. It does not care who is calling it.

On the dilemma of User as a Citizen (raised by PAYBB, IDVBB, CONSBB) versus User as a civil servant/govt. representative, in the context of UCST use case:

Request  @Vasil Kolev @Jane Rose Anthony @Kibuuka, Arnold @PSRAMKUMAR @Mauree, Venkatesen @David Karunda - Mr. Vasil, Ms. Jane, Mr. Arnold, Mr. Ram Kumar and Mr. David (iGrant; only if required) to have a discussion, if required, and record assumptions/perceptions in "neutralizing" the definition of user in the process/applications related to UCST use case

Orchestration of BBs: Sandbox team to prepare 1-2 pages of proposal/challenges/recommendations, both in short term and long term, as advised by Mr. Ram. Accordingly, it will be taken-up as an agenda item for Technical Committee meetings.
