Margus: Is this a high-value use case in the Ag sector?
Steve: Worked with GIZ and UNDP and identified that there are/were 5 core use cases, this was one of them
Ramkumar: Supporting story about how this sector can impact individual citizens
Aspects of this use case may involve more individual manual involvement (e.g. people going out to visit farmers)
Will connect with contact who has experience in this sector
From the comments: Some services that can be added targeting the farmer: online inspection and advice, supply chain info, storage, waste recycling, contract services like tilling, harvesting, transport, irrigation, etc
Ramkumar: Suggestion to create a “citizen portal” for entry in to GovStack
Steve: Need to ensure that there is clarity on any new BBs
Margus: Also need to consider adapting existing BBs into smaller BBs (decomposing them) or extracting “use case” content from them (“some of the current BBs seem more like a use case”). BBs with a smaller scope may increase the potential providers that can satisfy the specification
Rachel: We need to create a use case prior to starting work on any new BBs
Ramkumar: We have defined a layered approach to BBs but this isn’t consistently referenced in our work or in the BBs themselves. It may be helpful to formalize this concept
Margus: Do we have an cabinet use case? Are we confusing use cases with build blocks?
Ideas:
Service blocks, interaction between BBs and other architecture levels
Spec review incl. external feedback
Application of specs for procurement purposes, describe procurement support options
Review structure and target of specs, set expectations correctly
