The first Regional Technical Workshop of the Initiative for Digital Government and Cybersecurity (IDGC) for the Horn of Africa.

• Djibouti: e-cabinet and construction permits were chosen. 

• Kenya and Somalia focal points were met.

• IGF: we have booth at the village.

• Digital Global: UA MoU will be signed.

• Advisory Board meeting : agenda draft was shared for steering members. Estonia will chair the meeting.

• on Nov 28^th is the launch of the Spanish version of SDG investment framework book.  

• TAC review on the Playbook review and then it will be published (this week).

2. Goals for 2023 - each partner will add its goals to XLS shared by GIZ to founding partner reps.

3. Publication rules - Notes will be in Confluence. Project roadmap can be also there in a semi live version.  Instead of slides we will have notes from next meeting. @Rachel Lawson (Unlicensed)

   • @Jake Watson SierraLeone – DIAL has contacts there. They want to work in working groups. It will be brought up in the technical committee.

     • @Martinez, Yolanda (Deactivated) There is an e-mail about how gov experts can join. Lets take another look at this

   • Ukraine - 1.12 at Digital Global event MoU will be signed. There are matters to discuss further regarding Diia app and registry BB.

   • HoA priortisation is done. Codesign sessions outcomes will be shared. Djibouti: e-cabinet and construction permits were chosen. 

2. Advisory Board meeting - New Advisory Board members: Madhukar & Pramod

3. Playbook - TAC review will be done on GitBook. DIAL: don’t see Playbook as a GovStack BB. We should decide where it should nest. Will be taken to governance committee.

4. Country engagement - There is a separate work happening regarding how to engage private sector and various countries to GS. Logics are being drafted and then shared with the steering for review. @Moritz Fromageot @Martinez, Yolanda (Deactivated) @Margus Mägi

Building blocks – Product & technical committee

1. Product (@Wes Brown ). Continue on use cases. Sandbox works support use cases. Its the center of work currently. Broader team will have a chance to contribute next week. Sandbox team will present its work in the next Product meeting.

2. Technical (@Jake Watson ) – Jira backlog has an actionable roadmap now. In future, we will look at the dashboards from Jira. There are 3 groups who are not yet well engaged on Tech com work. We are getting to engage with them more. DIAL will add 3 more people to mow down the backlog. Everything is in Jira.
