This page describes the GovStack meeting notes. We use this meeting page to both run the meeting and keep notes, actions and decisions.

To avoid long meeting where the current status of each report is read out, we ask all participants to read the links below before the meeting, add in any questions they may have and then ask them in the meeting. This will focus the meeting upon the questions, decisions and actions needed for greatest impact.

Upcoming Events - Focus and Coordination: eGov Conference Tartu (may) MOSIP (march) GovStack global Event DIAL Event in Kigali DPI Safeguard Initiative WSIS	@Nora Hauptmann @Sarah Fischer	eGov: Side event, making use of G20 - potentially focusing on Data exchange as key topic. MOSIP: 2 Sessions: 1. GovStack + ID, 2. Deployment of DPI (DAAS) Global DPI/GovStack Event: Call with Egypt happened last week. Concept note developed by Co-Develop to be sent to Egypt today 2 possible Dates: 11.-13th June/ 5.-7. November Hoping for feedback from Egypt this week, coordination group to be formed. 50-in-5 can be a partner, but it is a global DPI event, with GovStack as a core partner, not under the umbrella of 50-in-5. Dial Event in Kigali with Smart Africa: Sarah follows up with Diana DPI Safeguards Initiative tbd who can participate since nominees need to represent themselves. WSIS: potentially there could be a DPI event at WSIS, requested by ITU

ID BB	@Nico Lueck	BB with most attention but also most critic: Suggestions for experts to approach to rebuild the ID BB WG? Proposal to collect a list of potential experts to rebuild/ grow the ID BB group to avoid reputational risk. Goal is to find people to make amendments and make contributions (instead of just criticism), not to rebuild the whole BB. And to stay product agnostic. We need to have a discussion on the question in how far GovStack keeps on being agnostic to solutions (open source and commercial) and which issues are coming up when working with commercial solutions (e.g. the need for NDAs).
