DPGA Annual Members meeting – GovStack session on DPGs and community building has been accepted (together with open IMIS and UNICEF).

To be discussed when Nora is back from holidays. Andrea will inform everyone accordingly. This is the latest information on the DPGA Annual Sessions. Farina took over the prep from Nora.

Here is the information about the DPGA annual members meeting. It will take place in Singapore from November 13th to 15th. We submitted 3 sessions and were asked to merge them with other sessions. Open IMIs (Saurav) is in the lead for the session on the DPG Donor system and we are in the lead for the session on the community. We will merge them with a UNICEf session with GitHub. The demo session on Rapid Pro will be included in a general demo session.

Question: we heard Neil (ITU) will participate. Would be great if he could take care of the session, in case GIZ will not be represented this year.

Updates on the standardization process

Hani - discussions started a few months ago. Today yet no entity to lead the process. Wallet as the poss item to be considered for standardisation in 6-9 months. DPI standards to be the item for discussion. GS specs for standardisation - the foundation to lead the way. To be added to the agenda of the foundation. The discussion to be cont’d in 2025. This will strengthen the uptake of GS further, as GS as the reference for DPI implementation. Proud will be informed on this item.

Egypt eLearning - Technical Reviewers needed!
